The Pongman Company was founded in 1990 by Dalton R. Daves. Prior to starting the company Dalton owned an Insurance Agency in North Little Rock,Arkansas and was an avid collector golfer and collector of Classic Clubs. A fellow collector in California had accumulated a few thousand Ping Irons over the years and Dalton decided he would enter the Lost and Found Club business and purchased the inventory from this gentleman.

"We have the largest inventory of Ping irons of any body in the Country, with the exception of PING GOLF, of course. We stock new and used irons,woods, and putters. I would say our specialty is the "Square Groove" irons which Karsten (Ping) made from 1984-1990 and lead the world in sales of irons during that era." Karsten reached a settlement with the USGA on the "Square Groove" issue in 1990 and discontinued the manufacturing of the clubs in question. The clubs are legal to use now on the Professional and Amateur level in the U.S. Mexico, and Canada, but, Ping can no longer make these. The Pongman Co. is one of the few sources in the Country where these can be found. The Pongman Co. also has one of the best selection of Classic Putters in the World, Ping and other Collectibles. This Book pictures Ping, Cameron, Wilson, TP Mills, Cleveland, Bristol, Macgregor, Zebra, Spalding, Bullseye, J.Byron, and Tad Moore.
